Hi,

Every time I publish a project Cp 2019 and run it in Firefox, the width of the project is cut off on the left side by a few pixels.  This seems to throw off all the buttons as I need to click them repeatedly to get any to work.  If I change the zoom out in Firefox to one less than 100%  everything appears as designed.

When I tested in chrome the first time it worked perfectly.  Displayed the entire frame and all buttons worked on first click.  But then when I loaded for a 2nd time, I get the loading logo and it freezes up in chrome.

my project size is 960 x 612 (so it is not taking up the entire browser view)

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Best,

Todd

I am using 11.0.1.266. It is a responsive project in breakpoint mode.  Somehow I got it to work in Chrome every time now by removing the password feature.  It seems that Firefox is persistently cutting off the left side as described above.

I am publishing html5.  How can I find the Rescalable check?

Thanks,

Todd

Rescalable makes only sense for non-responsive projects.  Are you sure to have used a responsive theme set up for Breakpoint Views workflow? It is totally different from the Fluid Boxes workflow which is now the default (none of the marketing people even mention Breakpoints, which is the only truly responsive workflow).

I started with the “blank” responsive theme.  Then I adjusted the width to 960 from the top breakpoint slider.  Is there a way to test if the theme is the culprit for the inconsistent behavior between browsers?

Blank theme has no master slides set up with breakpoint views, nor object styles set up correctly. Are you new to responsive projects? Did you read this post:

https://elearning.adobe.com/2017/11/tough-choice-breakpoints-or-fluid-boxes/

Setting up a theme for Breakpoints is a lot of work. Do not forget that text is nor rescaling  smoothly in between Breakpoints, you need to set up the text styles to have a different font size for each of the used breakpoints. Did you do that?

Thanks, I started with fluid box model but decided to go to breakpoints as I had challenges getting the flow with fluid boxes.  I am setting up text for different breakpoints along with other adjustments as needed.   Ill check out my master slides to see if that is causing the issue.  Thank you for the advice and tutorial!

Are you on 11.0.1.266?

Is this a responsive or a non)responsive project?

Did you publish for HTML5 and if yes, did you check’ Rescalable’?
