YouTube Learning Interaction for Your Captivate eLearning
I've been an eLearning designer and developer since 2005. In 2015 I started my own eLearning design company. I began creating Adobe Captivate video tutorials to help promote my business through my YouTube channel at https://youtube.com/captivateteacher. My intention with my YouTube videos was to attract attention from organizations looking for a skilled Captivate developer. This strategy proved successful as I've worked with clients worldwide, helping them build highly engaging eLearning solutions. In addition, my YouTube channel presented another benefit of attracting aspiring Captivate developers to seek me out as a teacher. I now offer online and onsite training on Adobe Captivate, teaching users the skills to build engaging and interactive learning.

Has this function now gone? I have just gone to add a video in this way and the interaction is no longer listed. I have added my video as an interactive video but that doesn’t allow for these same features which I want my learner to have i.e a properly embedded video where the user can play or pause the video, rewind or skip bits, see related content etc.

Yes, this feature was deprecated during one of the updates to Captivate 2019.

This is a great tutorial.  I didn’t realize Captivate could do this.  Great tip as well. Thank you!

Has this feature been removed? It’s no longer showing as an option. I wonder if “interactive video” has replaced it. This doesnt have the same embedding functionality though. My users can no longer play or pause videos, or rewind and skip, or see related content which is what I really need.
