I see in the tags that you refer to Drag&Drop. Is this happening in a course where you used Drag&Drop slides?  You are using CP2017, can you check under Help, About Captivate if you use the most recent version which is 10.0.1.285?

If it happens in all projects, please Clean the Preferences.
