For a designer, planning content visually – especially with a subject matter expert by your side – creates great efficiencies.

Adobe Creative Cloud applications in tandem with Captivate really helps to enable the efficient planning of content.

Having the right tools to solidify visual plans for content means you can give the SMEs a true sense of the ‘real estate’ that they have for editing the learning content they are developing.

Right now I am developing elearning portfolio pieces as I study Instructional Design. After plotting out my course, I really enjoy using my Adobe applications to edit visual and text content together in order to realize the true learning experience that is final product. No guessing – well, only as much as necessary. The real course content can be seen and user tested, allowing it to be easily modified in the Adobe applications.

Parts of my career are spent in major newsrooms, developing informative content into digestible learning experiences for the mass market consumer. Pumping out quality information on a daily basis relies on tight, wellformed application workflows.

Instructional content has a longer development timeline than daily news products, but the overall need for efficiencies is never out of style, no matter what your product timeline is.

I am excited about plugging into instructional design projects and developing e-learning products!

Let’s talk about the planning and efficiencies that great product lines like Adobe afford for instructional designers and SMEs. We can make a great team!
