I am in the early stages of learning Adobe Captivate 2019. This specific project is just to show my working knowledge. There are no specific learning or teaching models implemented, just a few slides I created. All feedback is welcome. If you want to connect feel free.Let me know what you think.
PS. On the slide with the video, you have to press the play button on the bottom left corner.
A little lengthy but it was informative as far as for the usage of Captivate and your knowledge. The website is easy to use and I like the step by step (pictures included) blog posts. Going to be using them as a references point along with some Paul Wilson videos.
Since you invited to offer some tips:
- The playbar has no real use, I think. Project looks cleaner without the playbar (use Project, Skin editor, don’t forget to take out also the bottom border).
- Using TOC is a good practice, it can be used to offer more control to the learner as navigation possibility. It helps if you label the slides and refresh the TOC, because a named slide is easier for the learner.
- The video from YouTube is not playing. If you have on CP2019, I strongly recommend to have a look at interactive video, which is a great new feature!
- The default leading for text, which is the distance between lines is set at 1, not very good for easy reading. Change it to 1,2 or 1,3. That is the recommendation for more comfort when reading (BTW there is an extra bullet without text).
Enjoy Captivate, it is an amazing tool! DO not hesitate to post questions.
