Scalable content vs Responsive content
I’m developing a project, which will be used on both desktop/laptop devices and mobile devices.
I’ve always built my course in blank projects and enabled them to be scalable content. I’ve been looking at fluid boxes recently and want to give it a try.
I was just wondering what the benefits and/or drawbacks are with either scalable vs responsive projects.

Hello Luke,
I find that fluid boxes are quite intuitive to lay out. The work comes with ensuring that each object within a fluid box scales appropriately. Also, there is no () layering of objects within fluid boxes, so I’ve often had to rethink my design or unlock an object from the fluid box to achieve the effect I want.
However, fluid boxes aren’t the only way to achieve “scaling” in responsive projects. There are positioning options that can be used instead, and I’ve found these useful when I have a limited number of objects that have to remain in a fixed position (usually the center) of the screen.
Paul Wilson has created quite a lot of videos about creating responsive projects in Adobe Captivate. They really helped me to learn. I recommend them .
