I have two items of interest:
We have captivate version 7 and I would like to update to the current version. Management has asked why update; what features are we gaining? justify the cost if you will. Where can I find a version comparison list?
We are a SharePoint shop and I have been told my flash content will no longer be supported once we update SharePoint in 2020. Is the latest version of Captivate address this concern?

It will be a big leap from 7 to CP2019. It is very probable that you will not be able to update files easily.
End of life of Flash Player in desktop browsers (gone from mobile browsers since long time) has been announced couple of years ago (2-3). Old Captivate content published to SWF will not play anymore unless you have control over the browser versions of your learners. Recent versions already don’t install the plug-in for SWF anymore today, and Edge has not even a plug-in.
Captivate team has been working hard on the HTML5 output, which I have been using exclusively since 3 years. Moreover the emphasis on mobile output, responsive projects is something you are missing totally in CP7.
There have bee a lot of features added. I have already posted 10 blogs only about the new features added in 11.5 from 11.0. You can imagine what the total amount of features is been added since 7. UI has changed totally as well.
