Accessibility – Unable to read aloud the state changing objects

Hi all,

I have a multi-state object that changes depending on what buttons the user’s click on. This function works well however unfortunately the text isn’t readable by screen readers on the different states.

Does anyone have any thoughts as it appears to be working on all other objects apart from multi-state?

System details – Adobe Captivate 2019 – Fluid Box Approach

Accessibility software is Dolphin Supernova

Thanks,

Sam

Hello Sam,

I am not sure why that is happening, but I do have a few suggestions:

– Try adding alt text to each state’s slide items
– Try adding narration to each state
– If both of the above fail, try adding all applicable alt text to the multi-state object itself

I hope that one of the above works for you!

Best Regards,

C. Hudgen
