Adding Text Animation to a Video Demo Captivate 2019
(2)

Am having an issue with text animation that I can’t resolve .  I am working with a video demo another designer created which involves showing learners how to complete a form.  I need to add a fake phone number so that it shows as it is typing it out – this mimics other fields on the form. Anyway, I used text animation and laid it over the phone number field.  It looks and works perfectly, but I can’t get it to work when I run the preview.  Anyone tried something like this and have an answer?  I’ve placed text on demo video before and didn’t have this issue.  I also need to get the timing down to go with the rest of the video demo so it’s the last thing the learner sees typed on the screen.

Please, can you offer feedback to my suggestions? Forgot to ask about the exact version, because CP2019 has at least two rather different versions,  11.0 and 11.5.

Text animation is SWF based. To a video demo you can only add static objects. Are you perhaps confusing with a software simulation? Anyway for HTML output never use a Text animation.
