I have a question to, probably, Adobe team. How is Adobe Captivate going to be represented during Devlearn 2019 ?
I mean any seminars or events solely devoted to our tool ?
For Adobe summits, no proposals, you are asked to present a topic. Didn’t happen lately for me (3 summits)
I have reached the Legend level multiple times (look at my score which is >16 times the required level). DevLearn is not organized by Adobe. Even at the most recent Adobe summits I have been invited, but not to present…. No idea why…
You are right. Devlearn is form the elearning guild.
But for Adobe summits, I guess you offered them some topics to present ?
I know this is addressed to Adobe team. There are some CP presentations, but on a personal note, I have been presenting many times about Captivate in the past. However I gave up entering propositions because all are rejected, although the feedback on my performance was often positive. Same with Lectora…. look at the schedule to see which tool is more appreciated by this American society?
This is really strange that they are so uncooperative. You are one of the most active people, and your activities work directly for them. How far are you from reaching “LEGEND” badge. In this case, from what’s written:
Complimentary invite, including travel and accommodation costs (within US) to annual Adobe eLearning events (Adobe Learning Summit or Adobe eLearning Conference) Invitation to speak at Adobe Live Events.
In such a case they can’t say no !
I checked it. That’s understandable that you’ve already reached the LEGEND level. So I don’t quite get what the problem is. Invitations to speak is one of the Lengend member priviliges.
Incentives need to be update, more is wrong with them. You cannot mark an answer as correct, nor helpful. Score of like is going to the user who gives the like, whereas in most forums (including Adobe forums) that score goes to the author of the post/comment that is liked. Many weird things.
My goal has always been to offer extra information and help to other users. Will not hide the fact that I miss live contact with users, since my training/consultancy also mostly are online using Connect.
