You have to enable and set up Reporting under Quiz Preferences. When you have done that, the ‘zip’ option will automatically be selected because a SCO needs to be a zipped folder. Publishing will lead to such a folder which will contain all the necessary files for the SCORM transfer of data. Upload that folder to the LMS and it will be recognized as being a SCO.
