Drag groups in Drag and Drop interactions

Hello,

I am trying to arrange a drag and drop interaction, where the user drags two items that are grouped together in the timeline. I can currently only see a way of dragging either the icon or its text. Is there a way to do this in captivate, or do I need to take both out of captivate and save them combined as a picture?

I am using Captivate 2019

You can make it more engaging, by letting them drag only the text (or the image) and add the second component in the InBuilt state for Accept. It will appear when the drag source is dropped and accepted (there is also a Reject state).

When looking closer at your screenshot, want to give a warning: the bounding boxes of drag sources nor drop targets should overlap. You can stack them if wanted, so that the upper drag source is covering up the others, which will become visible when the first one disappears. But overlapping can lead to problems.

You cannot use groups as drag sources nor as drop targets. Use a shape to fill it with the image and you can add text to that same shape, so that you end up with a single object.
