I am using Adobe Captivate 11.5.1.499
In a course, I have imported an event video and added one of the default playbar skins. I have also checked the Auto Play option. The project is responsive.
However, when previewing and exporting as xAPI, the playbar is gone. Can anybody tell me why, and what to do?
Thanks
In that case I think you have some corruption. Can you clean the Preferences? You need administrator rights. Look for the subfolder ‘utils’ under the installation folder and run the ‘CleanPreferences…’ file while Captivate is closed. Restart Captivate and test again. You may also clean the cache.
It is possible that I misunderstood your question. In SWF output the video playbar appeared all the time, for HTML you have to hover to see it appear. Do you not see the playbar after publishing when you hover over the bottom of the video?
Can you try in a new project, with a video insert as event video? I have never heard this problem mentioned anywhere and I screen daily for questions not only here but all around.
BTW how did you tesst? Use Preview HTML in Browser (F11) or, even better, after publishing and uploading to a webserver.
In HTML output control panel only appears when hovering over the bottom of the video. Did you try that? BTW you will not have the chosen skin, it will revert to the default skin.
