Multiple Choice Questions Test with Captivate

Hello Captivaters !… 
Today I want to share with you a Multiple Choice Question project… And I want you to return all kind of advice you want regarding the style or the content (even if it’s in french ?)…
It’s a multiple choice question project based on a pool of more than 70 questions build with the Captivate model. 20 of them are randomly selected to build a test of 20 questions. 15 right answers to complete. No time.
Here is the project (It’s a history one but could be applied to many other subjects !…) :
I think it’s my final form of this type of test. So what to you think of it ?

Salut Ludovic. I scored 50% (mon dieu…), though with hardly any French skills
I think it’s a decent multiple choice test and when your goal is to provide your students a knowledge check, it gets its job done. Style-wise, I am not a big fan of the color gradient on the background, but that’s a matter of taste probably.

I propose this project as a gaming challenge, and not really for checking any knowledge (the subject is too extensive !…). 50% is a decent score as I think you didn’t study history for long ?!…
The color background is linked with the color of the page where I used the project.

Hum… Ce projet n’est pas utilisé pour valider le résultat d’un apprentissage, mais plutôt dans l’optique de proposer un challenge à mes jeunes visiteurs, et je l’espère à leurs parents ?… J’ai googlé Patty Shank mais comme j’ai vu qu’elle était une adepte d’Articulate, j’ai préféré venir te répondre !…
Par contre, si tu retombes dessus, je suis preneur d’un lien direct vers ses propos…
Je suis aussi bien conscient des limites des MCQ en matière de validation d’un apprentissage… Mais comme c’est certainement l’un des types de projet que j’utilise le plus, le sujet m’intéresse !…

Patty Shank n’est pas réellement adepte d’un outil, mais ses idées générales sont vraiment intéressantes. Je l’ai rencontré en personne quelques fois en USA…
Un des problèmes de MCQ est le fait qu’il s’agit de ‘texte’ principalement, et pour une partie de l’audience comprendre des textes n’est pas toujours une compétence acquis, surtout pour les jeunes.
Bonjour Ludovic. J’ai mis mon chapeau de professeur, pas celui de Captivate. Il est très difficile de tester le résultat d’un apprentissage uniquement en utilisant des MCQ, et il s’agit d’un vrai art pour composer des questions de ce type-là. Je peux vous recommander de trouver des écrits de Patty Shank, qui a même un cours dédié uniquement à la composition des questions MCQ.
