Hi, My laptop has been upgraded and I had to reinstall all my software, Captivate 2019 being one of them. I am now experiencing issues when I try to execute TTS, the project just closes down (without any errors). This happens repeatedly and I cannot continue with development.

Couple of questions. Do you run Captivate with the option ‘Run as Administrator’? You are using the most recent version. Can you try to clean the Preferences. It is also possible that the Layouts folder in Public documents and the Content folder – same location  – are corrupted. You can safely delete them while CP is closed. On restarting CP a new copy from the originals will be installed.

HI Lieve, A colleague managed to sort the issue out. Apparently Captivate isn’t happy copying/pasting off Word document that is open in a browser. If we save to local drive and copy paste, then it apparently works. I’ve reinstalled my Captivate instance and all is well for me.
