Does anyone knows the reason, I am not able to add the asset slide into my project. I have already check the updates and its up to date.

Can you please offer some more details? You are on the most recent version (which is 11.5.1.499 for Windows). You want to add a slide from the Assets panel? What was your workflow, from which Quick Start Project did you choose a slide?
