Challenge #003
I'm a former teacher (and headmaster) in french primary schools. Now I work as a freelance on the net as a webmaster. I used to work with Flash for many years, but now I'm starting to discover Captivate and find it amazing !...

Is there only one question?

Hi Ludovic,

Great job! Love the look and feel of those buttons.

One thing to note:

Apparently the feedback (NO!/ YES!) is implemented through Down States. However, those are invoked on mousedown already. So if you mousedown on a button and then move the mouse out before releasing the mouse button, you have seen the feedback without having effectively clicked it. Opens the door to cheating when used on a quiz or knowledge check. Maybe rather have a custom state with the feedback, that gets switched to through the button action?

Hello Gaanf !…

Thanks for your kind comment !…

And of course for your wise advise !… I didn’t realize that this was “cheatable” !!…

I already used these kind of buzzers in many projects, and I just checked them to see if the same problem occured. Fortunately, the change of state of the buzzers in these projects happened with an advanced action, when the buzzer is pressed… Ouf !!…

(See here one example)

I didn’t have time to save your challenge this morning before it disappeared… Hope it will be again available soon !…

Happy Captivating !…
