From Flash to HTML : enabling e-learning to play in browser without using Flash

Can anyone help me with instructions or links on how to convert e-learning material from Flash to HTML.

  • I have used the HTML5 Tracker in Captivate to find elements that are not compatible with HTML. I have deleted those or made work around solutions, so there are no items listed when I use the HTML tracker.
  • Then I published the file and selected both SWF and HTML.
  • Then I have loaded the SCORM file to an LMS
  • But when I want to execute the e-learning video in fx. the Google Chrome browser I still receive a message saying Flash is not supported. How do I solve this issue or what steps am I missing in making this work in a HTML format?

I hope someone can guide me in the right direction.

Your problem is due to the dual publishing. Do not do that anymore, because Captivate will always show the SWF output when the course is launched in a desktop browser. Publish ONLY to HTML5 and your problem will be solved.
