As Adobe Connect continues adopting and integrating HTML5 more and more with every upgrade and update, the following workaround will help when a browser does not cooperate with MP4 playback from the Adobe Connect Content Library.
If an MP4 does not immediately playback in Adobe Connect using HTML5, or if it queues the client for an installation of the Flash Player, a quick workaround is to append /output/sample.mp4 where sample.mp4 is the actual name of the MP4 file being shared.
For example, using my video of my daughter’s Mozart Flute Concerto posted at: http://platinum.adobeconnect.com/eliza/
Where the MP4 resource file is named: 20180506_162153_good1.mp4
The URL playback workaround is: http://platinum.adobeconnect.com/eliza/output/20180506_162153_good1.mp4
Note: To find the name of the uploaded MP4, look under the Download Content tab in Adobe Connect Central:
Just add the suffix (the unique cryptic url portion hidden in Connect Central) to the URL of the MP4.
Here is another and perhaps a better way to do it though: https://elearning.adobe.com/2020/01/wrapping-elearning-video-content-for-playback-in-html-from-the-adobe-connect-content-library/
