Screen flashes white when a video demo slide appears – Adobe Captivate 2019

I am creating HTML5 (SCORM 1.2) lessons that include Software Simulations.  FYI, my software simulation settings are:

Recording Type = Automatic
Mode = Demo
Panning = No Panning
Audio = No Narration

When recording in this mode, some slides are static screen shots, but actions that have motion (like drag and drop) get captured as video demos.  This is all good, but when I publish to HTML5, the screen flashes white when every video demo slide begins to play.  If I delete the video demo slide, there is no flash of white in the published project.  I don’t want to record my projects in Video Demo mode, because the static slides are easier to work with when I add narration.

Is there a way to fix this?  Any ideas?

I have the same issue and all my videos are loaded at the beginning of the slide and I still have white flashes. Help!

Video has to be loaded on enter of the slide, just like audio. That may explain that flash. Keep the video demo slides as short as possible, understand you want them instead of FMR slides because those can cause issues when publishing to HTML5 and have lower quality as well.  Personally I would create a full video demo. I know it is more editing work, but I tend to capture a video demo in parts, and finish one part before adding more video. In fact I will use video clips in one Video Demo. That will make managing easier.
