Why do I get a blank Adobe Captivate Updater box when I try to check for software updates for 2019 version?
I had the same problem, and running ‘CleanPreferences’ made no difference at all.
The problem is the same as what I had when I installed it – a blank installer screen. I went back to where I found the fix for the installation, and the fix for the updater is similar and the fix is listed on the same page. The link is:

Did you try to Clean the Preferences? You will need admin rights. Look for the subfolder ‘utils’ under the installation folder. Run the ‘CleanPreferences…’ file appropriate for your OS (which I still don’t know) while Captivate is closed.
Do you have admin rights? Which version are you using at this moment on which OS? You can check the full version number under Help, About Captivate.
