If anyone knows how to add a speech agent, please let me know.

Hello. I am Miho.
I work in Japan as an instructional designer.
The Japanese version of Adobe Captivate 2019 includes an English speech agent. I want to add agents in other languages. How do I operate them?

I  am glad if you teach me. Thank you.

The company that created the voices and software for text to speech in Adobe Captivate has been taken over by another company known as ReadSpeaker. They have several Japanese voices, both male and female, available to purchase. https://www.readspeaker.com

Hello,Paul. You also wrote the commentary in another person’s post. I also read it. I checked  the site information in detail. It seems that many Japanese companies use readspeaker. It also seems to be available in many languages. Thank you for the information!

Thanks Paul! This looks like something that we might be able to use.

You should have agents installed in your language with the OS. They will be available in Captivate, did you try?

I remember that more speakers were installed on the computer shown on the screen during the Adobe Captivate Specialist classroom training. (Is it my misunderstanding?)
So “can I add more?””Is there a way to do that?” I thought.
Is there no way to do that?

On a Windows machine you will just have a half dozen or so voices. On a Mac there are dozens of voices that are included with the  Mac operating system. You probably saw Pooja’s computer (Macbook).

Macs do have many text-to-speech voices by default. Unfortunately, Windows only has two (plus the half dozen that you get with Captivate).
