I have had this happen on a few of my projects where when I go to preview a slide, the object are off kilter from what they are to be attached to. I have included before after afters for you. I have no idea what’s causing this.

There is some misunderstanding. The Preview method you mention doesn’t exist at all. There is a ‘Play Slide’ method which is confusingly under the big button Preview, but is NOT a preview at all. It has the same functionality as the Play button in the Timeline: to see the sequence, to synchronize, to see effects. But interactivity is not taken into account. To have a real Preview Captivate needs to create a temporary output file. Moreover, if you talk about a non-responsive project and want to publish to HTML5, the ONLY preview that comes close to the final output is Preview HTML in Browser (F11), because all other Preview methods create a temporary SWF file which can have quite different look and functionality. That is not the case for Fluid Boxes projects. I have no idea which type of project you are talking about, nor the version you are using.
