Converting Image Buttons to Smartshape Buttons

Hi,

Had a look but couldn’t see an answer for this. I have been handed a large Captivate file with over 160 slides, each slide potentially featuring up to 5 popup groups. Each popup group has a close button which is for some ridiculous reason, an image button. I have been asked to convert this course into an interactive PDF, which of course means the image buttons don’t work.

Save going through the entire project and replacing each individual button is there an easy solution here? Either to swap image buttons for smartshape buttons directly or somehow (magic?) force the PDF to work with them.

Really appreciate any help on this one,

Thanks,

You already got my answer on the  Adobe forums, days ago. Will try to find the thread and post the link here. Just a tip: if you want a quick answer, post in the Adobe forums, not here.

Quick answer: NO easy conversion. Image buttons are really obsolete since Captivate version 6. You need a graphics application to create them, you cannot edit the label etc…

It is possible to use the images directly as button s but only in 11.5. You can fill a shape with the image (still my preferred type because you can define an object style).
