Issue with HTML5 animation in responsive project

Hi, I have added an HTML 5 animation to a responsive Captivate 9 project. I added the action “continue” on enter to the slide. When I preview the slide it works perfectly. When I publish the project and go to the slide nothing happens. I can see the opening logo of the file so I know it’s there but it doesn’t play. Any suggestions? Is there some coding thing I (or someone who knows how to code!) have to do? Thanks.

That is an old version, HTML5 output has improved a lot. The most recent version is 11.5.

Animations are bit tricky, both OAM and animated GIFs (will not talk about SWF anymore). You don’t need to have an action, they play automatically when they are on a slide, even when that slide is paused On Enter.  Recently a user was wondering why a hidden animation was not playing when it was shown. Similar reason: although hidden it had finished playing when it was shown and only showed the last frame. My blog post trying to explain some workarounds will be published soon.

Where did you find the animation, or did you create it yourself? Is it an OAM?
