Hello,
I am a beginner trying to publish my project in Adobe Captivate Prime. I keep getting zip files I don’t know what to do with it. I want to be able to share what I have done with my class, instructor and colleagues. I am using the responsive template because I don’t know how to create the slides without the template. I also wanted to upload to a LMS as scorm. (Like Blackboard) My project could be very useful for work.
Could someone assist me?

You need to unzip that file in a directory in your website.
SCORM is not an LMS but the “language” used to communicate with the LMS. I do not believe that if you are having this issue, you really need to worry about SCORM.
You could do two things. You could unzip the file directly in a Blackboard page or you could do it to another web server and then add a link to that site inside your Blackboard course.
Thank you for your responses I started with a template from the Assets folder and then added a Theme. I then changed it to non responsive and started creating my slides and now I am trying to publish as HtML 5 and it keeps telling me that “go to HTML Tracker” and the first slide is not able to publish correctly. After it does publish to my computer I can see it but my reviewers can’t see it at all…#frustrated.

In the assets folder you don’t have any template (which would be a cptl file) but only Quick Start Projects. Some of them are available both in non-responsive and responsive versions. Those projects sometimes have a good structured theme, but sometimes not. You cannot ‘add’ a theme to such a project, you can edit thee existing theme. You cannot convert a responsive project to a non-responsive project.
When you read what I wrote, you may suspect already that you probably have been messing up the project? It could also be a terminology issue, that we do not use the same words. Can you give some more details about what you have done exactly? The QSP included in the Asset s library are compliant with HTML but I don’t know what you have ‘added’ which screwed it up.
You mentioned trying to publish your project to Captivate Prime.
You later mentioned that you would also like to publish to an LMS as SCORM.
Captivate Prime is an LMS.
If you have authoring rights in Captivate Prime, you can upload your zip file into the content library which will make it available to select as part of a course. If you publish from Captivate with SCORM enabled it should create a zip file by default. This is what you will need to upload into the Captivate Prime content library.
Please note that Adobe Captivate is the authoring tool and Adobe Captivate Prime is the Learning Management System (LMS).
Terminology is a problem for most newbies. Captivate has no templates packaged, cptl files. I have no idea what you mean by ‘the responsive template’ at all. Did you use one of the Quick Start Projects from the Assets panel? Or did you use a Theme?
Since you end up with a zipped folder, I suspect that you turned on Reporting – maybe because you have a quiz? In that case Captivate will automatically publish a ‘SCO’ which is needed to be uploaded to a LMS. Did you try to upload it? The LMS would recognize it and will automatically unzip the course and launch the appropriate start file.
