I have my course completed and the LMS is asking for SCORM 2004 and the Reporting Status: complete/incomplete or passed/failed. I have checked the publishing preferences and I cant find this as an option when I have SCORM 2004 selected. I am only able to see this option when I have internal server selected on the LMS drop down menu.
One of the virtues of SCORM 2004 as compared to older APIs like e.g. SCORM 1.2 is that it does NOT require you to choose if you want to track ‘Completion’ or ‘Pass/Fail’, because as you can see in the SCORM 2004 dialog, it can track both ‘Completion’ and ‘Success’ independently. If your LMS asks you for that for the decision for a SCORM 2004 course, then something’s off with the LMS.
