Assets? Where are they after the download.

Assets? Where are they after the download.

I’m new to Adobe Captivate and I have been struggling.  I downloaded everything but the Assets are empty.  How can I view the Assets I downloaded?  Any help would be appreciated.

Do you see anything in the Assets panel, or is it completely empty?

It’s completely empty.  No Assets.  No Downloads either.

Happened to me yesterday. I did clean the Preferences, restarted Captivate and it was OK. But it had worked already before. Did you ever see the Assets panel?

You all assets which are download from the internet under the “Download” tab. Sometimes it is hard to find it because if you download a character you have to follow the character tab which is located in the left part menu.

So, you can find your assets;

Go to Assets > Downloads > Characters

Each file type goes to its own folder. If you download character, it goes to the character tab. If you download a project, it goes to the project tab.

I looked in the Downloads and there’s nothing there too.  My computer asked me where to place the extractions after the Downloads.  Did you have that when you Downloaded the program?

The third tab of your Assets window (Downloads) will show you any resources under each category that you’ve downloaded.
