I am working with Captivate 2019. I am going through Masterin Adobe Captivate 2019 by Dr. Pooja Jaisingh and am trying to apply an effect to an image. When I add the affect I am supposed to see a small disclosure triangle in the timeline of the selected image I am applying the affect to. When I look at the timeline I do not see the triangle, not do I see the effect under the image. Can anyone tell me what I am doing incorrectly? I have included a thumbnail image.

I found the answer. The manual did not mention that you need to Enable Effects in Timeline. Big boo boo.

Hi Diane,

Sorry that you were facing issues with applying effects. The twisty triangle does appear for the objects only after the effect is applied to the object and not before that. @damienbkx and I will go through the chapter and see what needs to be changed to make it clear and send the changes to the publisher.
