Why are these quiz questions piled on top of each other?

quiz questions formatted wrong

Hi – Any ideas on why my quiz questions are piled on top of each other? See attached image. This is a responsive project, no customization, just straightforward multiple choice. The arrow at the upper right indicates there’s material with not enough room to show, but as you can see based on the screen real estate, there should be enough room. Also, that arrow is showing on desktop, but isn’t it only supposed to show on mobile? And it’s not clickable.
