Drag & Drop Knowledge Check Question

I am using Adobe Captivate 2019. I wanted to create a knowledge check slide for drag and drop, I then realized that this was not a feature in Captivate. I tried customizing the slide as suggested on different forums. When I previewed the slide, there was a big gray bar at the bottom of the slide that does not normally appear on the other knowledge check question slides. Is there an alternative to create a knowledge check question slide for drag and drop that has the same properties as the other knowledge check questions?

Drag&Drop slides are a NATIVE feature of Captivate. They can be set up both as Knowledge Check and as Scored quiz slides. Where did you read that this is not the case, please? It is a pretty old feature, so I suppose your version is supporting it fully. Difference is that as KC slide it will not have an attributed score and will not be included in Quiz total. It will be reset automatically when returning to the slide. If it is set up as scored Quiz slide the answers will not be reset while you are in a quiz attempt, and they will have a score and probably are included in the Quiz total. Exactly the same as for regular quiz slides.

You may confuse with the fact that D&D slides are not included when you choose Quiz, Knowledge Check Slide, but that is also the case for Quiz, Question slide. D&D is not a regular type of SCORM question…

There is no reason for a gray bar, D&D slides are mostly using the Blank master slide: is it really blank?  Or are you starting from a ready-to-go slide from one of the provided Quick Start Projects.

If you take out the default playbar from a project without taking out the bottom border in the Skin editor you would see a gray bar, but on all slides. That you are only seeing it on the D&D slide means something is wrong with its setup.
