White flashes between Video Demo slides

In my project there are a lot of white flashes between almost every Video Demo slides (not FMR!).
These Video Demos are really short ( just scrolling up or down the screen or drag and drop).

How can I solve this problem?

Were you able to push forward on this?

Lasciere I’m having the same issue. Can you elaborate a little more on the solution to this? I don’t understand what type of image you’re inserting or how you’re inserting it behind the video. Any help would be appreciated!

The image was a single frame from the video, typically the last.  Some video editing software allow you to capture a picture/image from a video.

I inserted the image via media insert and in the timeline, moved it “down” in the layering order, so that it is located behind the video.

Another solution, and the one I currently use the most, is to combine the videos into one long video, then insert it as a video over many slides.  I write down the length of each video segment ahead of time and then tell Captivate the length I desire for each slide of the single video.

I have experienced this issue and have come to the conclusion that the inserted video is slightly shorter than the length of the slide.  ie if the slide is 5.4 seconds, that my video is actually 5.36 seconds.  In the timeline, the video and slide indicate they are the same length.

If I insert a image (I have been creating animation videos, so I insert a single frame) behind the video, with a timing of “Rest of Slide,” 95% of the time, the white flashes are gone.
