Why my buttons in click to reveal is not working when I upload it in LMS? The file was SCORM1.2.

But when I preview in HTML 5 in Captivate before publishing the Project. The buttons is working.

Did I miss something?

Thank you in advance for your answer.

I am having the same issue with a few “previous and next” buttons not working when uploading Scorm 1.2 Captivate project to LMS.  Could someone please assist?

Thanks

Without more details, it is impossible to help you. Which version do you use, please post the full version number as found under Help, About Captivate.

Did you check the output in SCORM Cloud? That would confirm if the problem is due to the LMS or to Captivate.

Are talking about custom buttons or the buttons on a playbar? If those are custom buttons, are they on each slide or on the master slide or timed for the rest of the project?

Since you talk about a SCO: do you have a quiz? If yes, did you change the option for the field ‘Required’? Did you enable Backward movement in Quiz Preferences?

I had a similar issue but I noticed that enabling all 4 borders in the skin editor makes the custom buttons non-clickable once the module is uploaded to an LMS. It behaves perfectly locally though.

Really? I never use those borders but will check it out for sure. Did you also try on SCORM Cloud? I am asking this because the OP told that it is working perfectly on SCORM Cloud, would be good to know if that is also the case when using borders and I don’t have access to any LMS except SCORM Cloud.

Hello Lieve,

Please see attached image for your reference.

I already uploaded to SCORM Cloud, it’s working there.  I don’t know if the Captivate or the LMS is the problem.

If it is functional in SCORM Cloud you need to find the origin of the problems in the LMS.

Do you use click boxes on top of images instead of using the images as buttons? If you are on 11.5 that can be done directly (Use as button). In previous versions you need to create a shape button filled with the image. This would even be compulsory for a responsive project.

I don’t know if this is at the origin of the problems, can be something totally different, but at least you are getting rid of a lot of items. Have no idea how many object timelines you have but it seems a lot. The timeline is also very long, maybe due to a narration? Where are the pausing points of the click boxes? At the end of the slide?

Can you post some screenshots? Timeline, setup of the slide…

I am bit astonished that it works with Preview HTML in Browser (F11) but not after publishing and uploading to a LMS. Did you also check when uploaded to SCORM Cloud, to see if it is a problem from Captivate or from the LMS?
