Points in a question according to the number of attempts in Adobe Captivate
(4)

Hello,

I’ve been thinking for days about the possibility that the points of a question vary according to the attempts but I think this is not possible, right?

If anyone has an idea, it’s welcome!

Thank you very much for responding so quickly Lieve.
This weekend I will read your article carefully and try things out.
I will also investigate the CpExtra plugin.
As for the communication with LMS, I’d like to get it to give the score.

Greetings and thanks again,

You’re welcome, but in that case you’ll need the widget or learn JS.

Quite a few years ago I wrote an article, in which I described a possible workflow. I am afraid that the example is still SWF. There was no need to transfer the score to a LMS.

If you need to report to a LMS, you’ll have to use JS or the CpExtra widget by InfoSemantics (AU) to adapt the score, which is not possible out of the box in Captivate.

Here is the link to that old article:

It could be done more easily now perhaps, but it just FYI.
