Leveraging the ability to experience real-world scenarios in a failsafe environment, The Living Room creates a space where social service administrators can use 360-degree photography to educate field staff on identifying key indicators of potential prescription misuse. The interactive training guides the learner through a virtual scavenger hunt where clues are hidden in plain sight. Wrapped in the sights and sounds that may be familiar to seasoned professionals in the field, it provides fresh insight for newbies to the practice of home visits in the Child Welfare context.

Have used something like this before for virtual safety environments.  It really makes a difference to the immersive nature and engages more than other options.  Awesome!

I’m curious about the camera used to capture the image? Or, is the image provided in templates?

Hi Tiffany,

We captured this image with a 360-degree camera in-house and used Photoshop to increase the realism for the scene.

Great use of the hotspot tool. I could see myself using this in case scenario multimedia development.

I like how you used one room to provide several pieces of information at separate times using “scenes.”
