Bookmarking not working in Success Factors Learning

Hi, we have just moved from using Totara to Success Factors Learning as our LMS. We are currently experiencing an issue with Captivate 9 courses not bookmarking in Success Factors. Users are taken back to the start menu. All the courses successfully bookmark in both Totara and SCORM Cloud.

Has anyone any thoughts on what might be causing this?

Thanks, we have tried that approach but we have hit a brick wall with them.

We have encountered quite number of issues with SCORM packages not working in SF. It seems SF have not fully developed the APIs for  SCORM packages produced in different applications. Most of the issues we have managed to resolve ourselves such as adding extra parameters to the manifest file but we are unable to find a solution at the moment for this issue.

You really need to talk with the SF people, tell them everything works fine in SCORM Cloud, they need to fix the problems. You are client, are you not?

Did you double-check on SCORM Cloud? If the issue is not appearing there, the problem has to be found in the LMS, not in Captivate;

Yes we have double checked in SCORM cloud and bookmarking is working fine there as it is in Totara. Unfortunately our supplier keeps insisting the problem lies with Captivate but they are unable to provide any evidence of this.  Just wondering if anyone else had come across this problem and whether they had found a fix. I’ll try republishing in Captivate 2019 to see if this makes any difference once I have it installed on my machine.

Tell your supplier that everything works fine in SCORM Cloud. That is the ultimate standard for SCORM (since it is from Rustici), and that the problem is with their LMS. Most LMS vendors will accept this standard check.
