Summary

When will next version come out?

Does Adobe have any roadmap for Captivate? Captivate 2019 came out in 2018 and we are almost at the end of 2020. There was some talk of Captivate 2020 but I doubt that it will be called that way anymore. However, I do not care for the name but for the release date. Anybody has any idea of when will the next version come out?

I asked the same question of someone back in 2017/2018. At the time, there was no information that could be shared. But then a few months later, poof, there was the new version. It is hard to imagine they do not have a target date, but the way 2020 has gone, it is not surprising.

What I do know is that there was an update back in August (I believe) that was pretty well received by power users. There are plenty of blogs and discussions on this topic.
