Object Style Manager

I want to use the object style manager to change the sentences and fonts such as “correct answer” and “incorrect answer” displayed after answering the quiz at once. Please let me know if there is a tutorial that explains the procedure in detail.

Some late editing of master slides can still be applied to existing quiz slides by using Reset master slide, but the feedback messages is something different. They are not part of the style as you learned when posting the original question.

You’re welcome!

Thanks again for your advice! I’m working on it now, but it’s still difficult.

Understand. Be sure to save your preferences regularly if you are working on the feedback messages. In my case I often needed localisation, and that meant changing Preferences all the time. At least all labels and messages are in one place in the Preferences. It would have been more complicated if it was in the Object Style Manager.

You look in the wrong place. Object styles are never used to edit default texts. You have to look elsewhere.

For quiz messages you need to look under Quiz, Preferences, Default Labels.

I have posted over 30 blogs about Quizzes. Not videos, because that would have needed perhaps 300 videos to replace those blogs. In a sequence of 6 blogs about the default setup of Quiz and Score slides, this one would have told you what you need:

Captivate’s Quizzes (4): Preferences – eLearning (adobe.com)

Hello Lieve,
I am always grateful for your immediate comments. Thank you very much.
As you wrote, I need to work in the quiz preferences, not the object style manager.
Even if I change this, the reflection does not work, so I wonder if something is wrong with the operation. I will check your blog and try it.

You need to do this before adding the quiz slides, it will not work for existing slides. That is what I explained also in the blog: to do before inserting quiz slides.  There is a reason why there are so many questions about quizzes, Help documentation is not really complete.

I understand that it is important to do this before adding the quiz slides.
Thank you so much !
