Quiz and and Knowledge Check questions

Summary

Knowledge questions being counted with Quiz questions.

So, I’m currently using Captivate 2019 version 11.5.1.499 with Windows 10. I’m currently finishing up this eLearning course with 4 knowledge checks with 3 questions, and one Quiz with 20 questions. I noticed the quiz starts with question 1 labeled as number 9 and ends as number 28 instead of being 20. So, I’m pretty sure my Knowledge check questions are being counted along with the quiz questions. How do I change this, so only the Quiz questions are counted or the quiz questions start at number 1?

Please update ASAP to the most recent version which is 11.5.5.553. Your version is no longer supported.

You will not like my answer, but indeed, some quizzing system variables count both KC and quiz slides. I have explored and explained the differences in detail in this blog:

You will need to create a custom progress indicator for the quiz slides, and take out the default one from the quiz slides using the Quiz Preferences. You can find an older article  (still valid) on my blog.
