I have 2 issues that Adobe seems unable to assist me with.
1) All of the sudden it appears to Captivate I have a trial program.
2) My Adobe Fonts I have access to no longer are an option in Captivate.
Hi all, was this resolved?
I have a similar issue.
I’ve opened my file and now the project wants to replace fonts.
My Adobe fonts are activated (in my account) but aren’t appearing in Captivate, thus I’ve now lost branding fonts for my current project.
I’ve logged in and out, and restarted.
I can’t seem to get Captivate to recognise my activated Adobe fonts.
I’m at a loss as to what to do.
Did you try to sign out of the Creative Cloud app, close Captivate. Then sign in back to the CC app and restart Captivate. I know, it is very annoying. It happened since Adobe fonts are deactivated automatically after a while and Captivate was not changed to cope with it.
You cannot have Captivate installed on a server, sorry. That will cause multiple problems, same as when you have the paths for Projects, Publish at and Cache installed on a networked or external drive.
IT people do need to install Captivate on your system, and allow you to download/upload projects from the server to your system as well. If you do not have admin rights to Captivate, some functionality (like capturing) will be crippled.
When you go here, do your licenses appear? https://account.adobe.com/?lang=en
Are you logged in to the Creative Cloud manager? Try to log out completely and log in again. Restart Captivate
When there is a glitch that Captivate no longer shows the Adobe fonts you have activated, this can help. It may help also to restore the link from Captivate with your Adobe ID (if you are on a subscription license). Did you check your Adobe account.
BTW I am not from Adobe, just a simple user.
