Last time I checked, for a single EDU license, its $399.99 for a US license.

I am a university professor and quality for educational discounts on software products through the user of my .edu email address. Not sure how they would validate a homeschooling discount. I would talk to customer service to see if there is another way to validate your discount. Certainly as deserving as any other educator.

I went through this process about six years ago, albeit not for a homeschool situation but instead because I was enrolled in a local community college at the time. I was required to submit a pdf or screen capture that proved I was enrolled at the school at the time. I would imagine that homeschooling parents would need to meet certain homeschooling standards, which would require communication with the state or province you are located within. Sending recent examples of such communication with the governing body would likely be the type of proof required.

Homeschooling is an option for the educational discount from Adobe. Check out the details found on this page to learn more and to see how you can qualify.

I can’t speak for how Adobe evaluates what a school is, but there is an education discount for traditional institutions and educators. But when a newer version comes out, I believe you do not get updated to that version. You will keep the version you have unless you pay for the update.  Something to consider if you are looking at the software.

One question comes to mind though. How are you intending to use the software for homeschooling? More curious than anything.

I’m also curious about this. I like looking for different ways to use the software.
