Why?

This sample project is meant as an answer to this thread ‘Automate Page Numbering for Sections‘ from the Adobe Captivate forum. You can read my answer there.

Here is a published small project to prove what I claimed. It has only 3 sections, you will see that the progress indicator is as  requested by the user in that thread. You can freely use the Table of Content for navigation to slides which you already finished. All is done with the same action On Enter for all the slide. The action can easily be extended to more sections. Besides the system variable cpInfoCurrentSlide three user variables were used, one for each section, and the two components of the progress indicator (v_slide/v_section) are calculated with the action.

The progress indicator itself is on

The project itself is not meant for real content, I used slides from a Quick Start Project.

Thanks for the input. I would love to apply this idea but I find myself lost. Would it be possible to download the project to understand the configuration? Thank you

Sorry but I don’t provide projects for free. Bad experiences with people without ethics in the past have taught me to become careful.

I could have posted a blog about the workflow, but since the original poster never came back to the forum, I didn’t think it worthwhile to spend more free time on this situation.
