Jump to slide not working in Captivate 2019

I’m pretty new to Captivate 2019. I have a slide where if the trainee picks the yes button, they advance to the next slide and it they select the no button it should jump to slide 81. The yes button works but the no button does nothing. Looking at other suggestions, I made No. of Attempts 1 and last attempt same action. Still nothing.

Jump to slide works fine, which means that something is awry in either the setup or the testing method.

How did you test? If this is a non-responsive project which will be published to HTML5, you need to test with F11, Preview HTML in Browser because that is the only Preview method which generates a temporary HTML output. The other Preview methods use temporary SWF output. For a responsive project this is not necessary.

Best testing always happens after publishing and uploading to a webserver or a LMS (in case of a SCO). Did you try that?

You don’t tell if the slide 81 is before or after the slide with the action ‘Jump to slide’.  Some settings can prevent the jump. Are those buttons scored, then you are in the Quiz Scope. Do you allow Backwards movement in the Quiz? If you have Pretest slides, or activated the option ‘Branch aware’ in Quiz Preferences, navigation can be suffer as well.

I saw your comments on another similar question and tried your suggestions. Turned out it is because I put it after the quiz. When I moved it before the quiz it worked fine. Thanks for your help.

That means it is linked to the Quiz preferences as I mentioned.
