Hello,

Currently Im working on a PC for work as I design for eLearning interactives.  My Adobe Suite works great, but my PC seems to always have some sort of crazy issues.  If it’s not the sound card failing, it’s a fan, or sometimes it just decides to have a heart attack all together.  Granted, this is the second computer (Dell 5540 64gb ram, 2T SSD drive, i9) replaced by Dell. Anyway, I would like to work from a new M1 Mac Pro, but wasn’t sure about the stability with Adobe software on one. Does anyone have experience facing issues with Premiere, Photoshop, Illustrator, Media encoder and Audacity on an M1?  I would like to use Captivate as well as Articulate Storyline isn’t supported for Apple.

Sounds like captivate is holding you back and is holding me back too, wanted to get the M1 but forced into an i7 – luckily I’m only in it for a few more months. Your dream machine is an M1 running everything adobe with parallels (99/yr) running storyline. The parallels/storyline fusion workflow is seamless on M1 and the responsivity feels native. Very disappointing aspect of captivate here.

I have used Creative Cloud on my old iMac for the last few years with no issues. I just ordered my new M1 iMac…I can’t imagine that it won’t run even smoother on the new one. I haven’t tested Captivate with it yet though.

AFAIK concerning Adobe Captivate, it is not declared compatible with M1. As for other Adobe applications belonging to the Creative Cloud, you may get better answers in the dedicated Adobe forums, this is the eLearning Community.
