

Hi I’m having issue with the typing text appearing on top of the text box field. I’m logged in remotely to my computer at work. I’ve tried updating Captivate. Restarting the computer and it doesn’t worker. My supervisor has Captivate 8 and is able to get the typing text to appear in the text field. I’m in Captivate 2019.

Hi. Thanks but it’s not just on the typing text, but it also in clicking on tabs that have drop downs. I included that attached. It seems to be an issue with 2019. My supervisor has 8 and no issue. I can’t downgrade to 8 since it’s her license. I appreciate your response.
Why do you not answer my question: is your supervisor also working remotely on a computer?
This could be due to the situation: logging in to computer at work?
Capturing needs to be done on the system itself, never remotely. Is your supervisor in the same situation?
She’s working remote as well. No issue with Captivate 8. I have to work remote bc the application I’m recording is only available through the secure network at work. We’re currently not allowed to return to the office yet.
I don’t think it is linked to the version at all, at least if you are using the most recent one which is 11.5.553. There has to be some differences but it is difficult to continue ‘guessing’. The capture workflow has not really changed for software simulations since CP8.
