The black screen continues after the update.
HI. Im trying CP2019 with serious intention to buy. But I keep getting the black screen with an open project. Other posts have suggested update, which I did. No luck.
Is this because its a trial version which I can’t try?

I’m not sure if this is helpful but I did just notice while downloading the free trial that there was a completely separate download page and button for big sur users. Make sure you download the right one – from what I understand you should not be selecting your download from the dropdown menu but rather through a hyperlink in the copy.

Same question: can you check the exact version number under Help, About Captivate? You may need to update.
