Close caption crashing

I am working on a Mac running macOS Big Sur.  I am trying to edit a recording and add close captions. Whenever I try to remove one of the captions by using the  minus sign my captivate program crashes. Does this happen to anyone else? While I am would be to happy to find a workaround to be able to remove captions I still would like to know why this is crashing.

Hi Paul,

Yes as far as trouble shooting goes, this was the first thing I did. Checked to ensure that my version of Captivate was update. I am also the correct version of captivate for Big Sur.

I’m not sure if it’s related but make sure you are running the most up to date version of Adobe Captivate 2019. Here is a post that talks about a special release specifically for macOS Big Sur:
