Is there a way to remove the outline of a rollover? I have included instructions in the course on where the learner needs to hover, so the outline is not necessary.
If you are referring to a rollover caption or rollover image, you can select the rollover area and change the rollover highlight box to a stroke of zero. You can also set the fill colour to be zero opacity. If you are attempting to use a rollover slidelet (where you can place multiple objects of your choice into the “slidelet”), rollover slidelets will not work with HTML5. Because SWF is no longer supported in any browser, you will not be able to use these. Keep in mind that if you are publishing for mobile devices such as tablets and smartphones, these devices cannot activate a rollover effect.
Are you talking about an interactive object and its rollover state? You can delete the rollover state, but I don’t know what you mean by ‘outline’? Are you talking about the Rollover area of a Rollover Caption/Image? If yes, that area has a dedicated object style (depends on the used theme) and you can edit the object style, either in the Object Style Manager, or from example using the hamburger menu in the Properties panel. Edit the style so that the border line (stroke) disappears by setting it to with to 0.
I don’t mention the Rollover slidelet because it is not supported for HTML output.
