Submit drag and drop on release?
(5)

Hi there,

I’m very new to Captivate and I was wondering if there was a way to submit a drag and drop interaction after the object is released onto the target area?

Thanks,

-Sarah

It’s a pretty involved process but uou could use advanced actions and some user variables to track right answers and set up some kind of transition to another slide after the correct items were dragged into the target.

I have examples like that on my blog, using the Object actions in combination with shared actions and variables. But I didn’t want to offer this solution to a new Captivate user…

For D&D Auto-Submit is only possible if the (last) drag action resulted in a correct answer.  See screenshot.
