I am using a MacBookPro and Captivate 2019 11.5.5.678. I have inserted a video into one of the slides, a slide video (youtube). The duration of the slide is the duration of the video and when I play the video in the timeline it plays fine when I preview the project (HTML 5 in browser) the video only plays for a couple of seconds. I have checked a previous project with a video that plays for the full duration and I can’t figure out the difference or the cause of this issue. Can anyone advise?
Thanks
For some reasons there are (again) issues with posting comments. I will try again.
You didn’t mention the OS version you are using, nor whether you are on a M1 chip? If either is the case you need to update to Captivate 11.8.
Did you check the Timeline panel to see if there are no interactive objects pausing the timeline, or if you inserted by accident an overlay slide. Each slide video can become an interactive video, the bookmarks and overlay slides are available.
Sorry for the seemingly double post. This was my first answer but it has disappeared for several hours. It is impossible to delete it…
Which version of iOS do you use? It is possible that you need to update to 11.8 for compatibility.
Can you also check the timeline panel? Did you add any interactive object or overlay slide? Each video inserted as slide video can be an interactive video, reason for my question about ‘overlay slide’.
